A Court of Aldermen was held on Saturday, for the purpose of elect- ing two active and two passive Commissioners for carrying into effect the provisions of the Income-tax for the city of London. The Court having been officially informed that the Court of Common Council had elected four Aldermen and four Common Councilmen to act as Com- misioners under the Inconie-tax Act for the city of London, proceeded to scratch for two Active and two Passive Commissioners from the nuns-.
