The Land of the Five Rivers and Sindh. By David

Ross. (Chap- man and Hall.)—This volume may be briefly described as a gazetteer of the Punjaub and Sindh. Information, both historical and geo- graphical, is abundantly supplied ; and with regard to the Punjanb, at least, connected as it has been with European history for more than two thousand years, the historical associations are considerable and important. A glossary and an index complete a volume which should be in the hands of all who have connections or interest in these provinces of British India.
