The Art Journal March. (Virtue and Co.)—Bat for the three

steel engravings which accompany each number of the Art Journal we do not- think that periodical would enjoy a long lease of life. The literary matter is generally poor, and has a made-up look. This month the engravings are taken from Leslie's " Autolycus," Solomon's "Art Critica in Brittany," and Bonington's "Fish Market." The second is especially good. But something more might be expected from the "only journal in Europe that aims to represent the Arts," and that "has largely aide& the Art progress of the century."
