A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for an excerpt from a speech by Disraeli, while Leader of the Opposition, attacking the project for turning Carlton House Terrace into the Foreign Office. Not more than 250 words.

Entries must be addressed to the Spectator. 99 Gower Street, London, W.C.1, in envelopes marked "Competition," and must be received not later than March 28th. Results will be published in the Spectator of April 6th.
