The Campaign Guide. (National Unionist Association. 5s. net.)—This excellent book was prepared in order to provide Unionist candidates and speakers with a handy reference work covering the whole field of contemporary political controversy The essential facts in relation to each question are presented in a convenient and accessible form, whilst argumentative matter is reduced to a minimum. The editors rightly think that, when the true facts are known, there is little need of argument. We are particularly glad to see so much space devoted to the Referendum, in accordance with Lord Lansdowne's hope that the Unionist Party will henceforth give it a place in their scheme of Constitutional reform.
