CURRENT LITERATURE.

Home Counsels. By Gertrude Martineau. (Sunday School Association.)—This is a very wise little children's book or mother's book,—or, rather, both. We have seldom read anything better than the part of the story called "Punishment," and the part called "Liberty," both of which treat a delicate subject with true skill. Nor is Miss Martineau too didactic. She keeps up the interest of the story throughout her Home Counsels.
