The Navy Eternal. By Bartimeus. (Hodder and Stoughton. Os. net.)—"

Bartimeus " writes invariably well about the Service to which he belongs. His new book contains' short sketches of the war at sea, illustrating the work of all classes of ships, down to the trawler and the motor-launch, and including the submarine and the " blimp " or coastal airship, which has played so useful a part in the anti-submarine campaign. He describes some famour episodes, but most of the incidents are new to us.
