kEITH DOUGLAS are preparing, for publication by Faber and Faber,

a collected edition of the poetry and Prose of Keith Douglas (1920-1944). We are thinking at including any letters written by Douglas (or extracts therefrom) which 'throw an interesting light his life and opinions. If anyone possessing such letters (or other prose pieces so far unpublished) could let us see them in confidence, we should be tremely grateful. They should be sent to J. C. gall, c/o Encounter, 25 Haymarket, London, SW1, Who will return them as soon as possible. Nothing bill be published without the owner's permission.
