IRELAND.

The Prince of Wales, to the great gratification of the sons of Erin, landed on their shores at the close of last week. He selected Cork as his place of debarkation. Keeping a strict incognito, he avoided ceremony, and only gave a private reception to the Admiral of the station and the Mayor. The mob got news of his presence in the " fair city," and, be- sieging his hotel, saluted his ingoings and outeomings with shouts. During his stay in Cork he visited Blarney. The Prince started on Tuesday for a tour in the West, Bandon, Bantry, Skibbercen, and Kil- larney.
