Three several attempt , were made last week to set tire

to the stacks and fanning-premises of Mr. Thomas Dean, in the parish ef IIarobIninen, near Reading. On 'Tuesday, a riek of sai»then—on Nreditesday, a bay-rick—and on Thursday, the barns, stables, outhouses, and part of the dwelling-house—were consumed. There is no doubt that these fires were wilful.

The gale on Wednesday- did great deneage to the beautiful esplanade between the White Rock and St. Lemenefs, by destroying a large por- tion of the wall erected in front of it. The damage done cannot be less than 2,000/.

On Friday sennight, an explosion of fire-damp toeli place at a colliery- at Broadmoor, near Saundersfoot, by wide]] clever persons were burnt. We understand one is since dead, and little hopes are given of the recovery- of the other.—Combrian.
