Electric despatches anticipatory of the Indian and North American mails

appear in a third edition of the Morning Chronicle. Those of the Indian mail, coming through Berlin, state that the export-duties on sugars and rums are abolished throughout India ; that Narain Singh and thirty-eight other Sikh prisoners have escaped from Allahabad ; and that the new Emperor of China has permitted the existence of Christian sects, and will probably admit the importation of opium at a regular duty. The American despatch from Liverpool communicates the passing of the Compromise Bill by the Washington Senate ; but still without ex- planation.
