HORSES' RATIONS.

Sin,—We are all delighted to hear that as a result of the efforts of ourselves and our Allies, it is proposed to give us whiter bread. But would it not be better first to increase the horses' rations? Many animals now working in London are seriously underfed, and their appearance is a disgrace to well-fed citizens.
