Memoranda.-The promotion of Lieut. W. H. Parry, of the 33d Foot, to a com- pany, by purchase, as stated in the Gazette of the 12th of Jan. has been cancelled. The proper designation of the officer appointed to the 19th Foot, on the 5th of November 1854, is Arthur Wellesley Kirby, and not Frederick Arthur, as stated in the Gazette of the 6th instant.
