Crumbs Swept Up. By T. Delvitt Talmage. (Hodder and Stoughton.)—

Mr. Talmage is, we presume, a " minister " ; not that there is anything of a professional tone about what he writes, but that he is evidently at home in the topics of the professions. The charming little paper,. "Minister's Sunshine," with its sketches of the young minister and of his principal people, touched all of them with a delicate, kindly humour,. are written, we should say, by one who has been behind the scenes.. Whatever their authorship, the papers are readable, lively, and often, not a little wise.
