The Times of Thursday affirms that Prince Napoleon, after his

release by order of the Court of Accusations, came to Eng- land, and visited the Empress Eug4nie. The result of the visit was that the Prince was formally recognised as head of the Bonaparte family, and his policy of demanding an appeal to the people in virtue of the plebiscite of 1869 was distinctly approved. If this statement, which can only have come from the Prince himself, is correct, schism among the Bonapartes is partly healed.
