Accounts from Jamaica, to the 1st December, are not more

satis- factory than other recent intelligence from the same quarter. The Marquis of Suoo is at open variance with the Legislative As- sembly. The Marquis complains of want of cordial cooperation with him on the part of the planters, while they accuse his Exce!- Iency of being deficient in vigour. It seems that the refusal of the Negroes to work is persevered in; but the papers contain no aaeounts of violent proceedings, though they say that the appren- flies are ia open rebellion."
