A meeting of the rate-payers in Sundridge was held yesterday,

to re- ceive the report of the gentlemen who had been appointed at a previous meeting to procure the inquiry into the charges against the officers of the Sevenoaks Union. Resolutions were passed reiterating the main allegations ; and a petition to Parliament was adopted, praying that paupers who are unable to work may be allowed out-door relief, and that those who are able to work may be employed by a labour-rate.
