The prospectus of the East London Railway, to complete the

Metropolitan system, has been issued by the financial agents, Messrs. Chadwick, Adamson, M'Kenna, and Co. The required capital is 1,400,0001., and it is proposed to unite the principal lines already formed or in course of formation. The shareholders will receive 5 per cent. during construction, and 6 per cent. when the line is completed. The subscription lists will be closed for London on the 20th and for the country on the 21st inst.
