Cardinal ALnANI has nominated his Council of three at Bo-

logna; but no prosecutions have yet taken place. By way of completing the mockery of justice, this consecrated ruffian has appointed not merely a prosecuting, but a defending pleader, whose services alone will be available for the wretches who may be dragged before the tribunal. The Bolognese, it is said, un- awed by the Cardinal and his minions, make pilgrimages to Ancona, to glad their eyes with the sight of the ensign of freedom, which is soon, if the accounts be correct, to quit their enslaved country,—bearing, however, the Austrian eagles along with it. This is some comfort for the followers of the follower of St. Peter.
