I have just heard from a reliable source, that efforts are making by cer- tain members of the Liberal party to persuade Lord John, Russell that there is no necessity for introducing a Reform Bill next session. So far as I can learn, no impression has been made upon Lord John •' who, I trust, has too much principle and too much sense to let himself be betrayed into the com- mission of so ruinous a blunder."
