Home-Made Toys for Girls and Boys. By A. N. Hal

(T. Werner Laurie Os. net.)—This is for young people who want- to use their fingers to some purpose. It teaches how to make out of paper and cardboard various toys or imitations of things that their elders use. It leads on• to more tricky matter% such as model aeroplanes. Before the end the author comes to the manufacture of articles that require some plant, but he delights (and so will many boys) in' its ramshackle nature, as for instance, when electric batteries stand in common tumblers. It is helpfully illustrated.
