Arrangements have been made by which Members of Parliament will

be etiabled to post letters written at the House of Commons without the difficulty which would occur in paying Id. with each letter. Covers

will be sold to Members at the House, on payment of the postage; but such covers will only be available if posted at the Houses of Parlia- ment.-11forning Chronicle. We learn that the construction of the postage-stamps is advancing with all speed; the several artists to whom they are Intrusted being actively engaged upon them. In the stamp for letter-paper, and the adhesive stamp, a profile of the Queen is the principal ornament. The letter-paper stamp is being engraved by W. Wyon, HA., medallist to the Mint. Charles Heath is engraving the drawing taken from 'Wyon's City medal, by II. Corbould, intended for the adhesive stamp. W. Mulready, B.A. has furnished the design for the cover and envelope, which is in the fiends of John Thompson, for engraving. The public will recognize in all these artists the highest talent in their respective departments which the country affords.—Morning Chronicle.
