Lodge's Peerage, Baronelage, and Knightage (Hurst and Blackett, 31s. 6d.)

is a work so well established in favour—this is the sevent y-first edition—that praise is needless. We observe that tbough the editor fails to give the "New Year's Honours" in their customary place (for the very sufficient reason that there were none), he has supplied a list of 'Occurrences during Print- ing" which practically brings up the information supplied by the work to the latest date. One of these entries refers to a marriage celebrated on December 17th, just four weeks before the writing of this notice, a very creditable instance of promptitude.
