Hymn Tunes

SIR,—Of the seven hundred tunes in Cdngregational Praise Sir Norman Birkett mentions only Stracathro. I think no one who really examines the book can fail to be struck by the number of very fine tunes that are at last made available to the Congregational churches. Perhaps I may be allowed to list five of them: Picardy (French carol), David's Harp (Robert King), Liverpool (leuan Gwyllt), Laudate Dominum (Hubert PaRy), St. Keverne (C. S. Lang).—Yours, etc,, J.
