There is little news from Albania, but all there is

is decidedly gloomy. No one on the spot seems to think that the present Prince can keep his head above water much longer. What will happen on his resignation it is impossible to say. The Powers, however, are not likely to alter their decision that an independent Albania is essential to the peace of Europe. At the same time, they will find it very difficult to fill the vacant throne. Recent events have not been of a kind to encourage competition for " this eligible Royal building site, with excellent frontage on Adriatic Marine Parade."
