Ashby Road, Burton upon Trent, Staffs, who died on July 22nd last, left estate valued at £7,595,295 gross, £7,540,624 net. He left £5,000 to the NSPCC, Bur- ton upon Trent Branch, £4,000 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association £2,000 each to the Burton upon Trent branches of the RSPCA, Imperial Can- cer Research Fund, RNIL and PDSA, the Animal Health Trust, Dr Barnardo's and the Building Fund of Uppingham School, £1,000 each to St Aidans Church, Shobnall, St Chads Church, Hunter Street, Burton upon Trent, Bur- ton Cricket Club, the Burton upon Trent branches of the Royal British Legion, Age Concern, Shelter, British Red Cross Society and St John Ambu- lance, the RAF Benevolent Fund, Uppingham School Rovers Cricket Club, and Grange Lawn Tennis Club, Burton upon Trent, and the remainder of his estate mostly to relatives.
