Sergeant Shaw and nine of the Police have been reprimanded by the Magistrates of Kilkenny, for collecting tithes due to Dr. Butler of Burnchureh, by means of the Coercive Act.

Mr. Walsh, who was tried in the Court of King's Bench, Dublin, on Tuesday, for seditious words spoken at the Trades' Union, was found guilty. He was discharged on bail, to appear and receive judgment when called upon.
