speak well of this piece, as it is pleasing, and carries us on with a certain amount of interest through the whole of its pages. One serious fault only occurs, and that is, that the composer ignores the rules of harmony in his use of arpeggios, which should be written the same as simul- taneous chords. The error is a common one, and unfortunately it is seen in hundreds of compositions for the pianoforte, but it is inexons- able, nevertheless.
