Better late

Sir: Skinflint was not alone in being late discovering my book The Catt Concept. It has left almost no trace in England, the country at which the message was directed. The US, my other target, showed little interest either. Perversely, it sold like crazy in France, did well in Germany, and is also published in Japan and Italy, all countries which I did not have in mind when I wrote the book. I feel rather bemused, like the dart player who aimed at the bull and hit the double twenty.
