Bored and brooding

Sir: 'If you abhor (musical) analysis, just go away quietly instead of listening noisily.' Thus Hans Keller. I will not go away quietly. It seems that every second time I turn on Radio 3 in the hope of hearing music I hear instead some boring twat like Keller; and I spend six shillings on your newspaper instead of a pint of beer and find a whole page of it given over to his airy garbage. And I resent it. God did not put Mozart into the world in order to provide Keller with a living. For the moment I don't know what to do about it, but I'm brooding on it. Has anyone ever assassinated a music critic? I feel like it.
