SHOPPERS' GUIDE SIR,-1 really cannot follow Miss Garbutt's state- ment

in your issue of September 4 that the Good Housekeeping Institute is 'the only body which guarantees to the consumer repayment of his money if he is not satisfied with the product he purchases.'

On the only occasion that I have made a complaint to the Institute I even had to write again pressing for a reply which, when received, offered no answer to the substance of my complaint and offered no form of compensation or refund.

Since I certainly was not satisfied with the product purchased perhaps Miss Garbutt will now tell me how to enforce the gutirantee?—Yourifaithfully,
