Some paragraphs, apparently of a demi-effipiaLkincl, have appeased in the

daily papers respecting the arrangements for Her Ifejesty's-Thavfre. We learn from them that the season is ` anticipated" to commence on "or about" the 6th of May; when Alboni will appear, after a five- years absence from England; that, in addition to Piecolomini, Mr. Lumley has engaged Signora Albertini, a young Englishwoman, who at present shares with Piccolomini the favour of the Italian public; that the tenors Calzolari and Baucardi, who have already appeared euccess- fully at thistheatme, are also engaged, and likewise,Rosati for the ballet. Several other names of singers and dancers are mentioned, all quite un- known in this country.
