Hawtree on 15 March 1986 In the 15 March edition of the Spectator we commented adversely on the late arrival of our review copy of Homage to Qwert Yuiop by Anthony Burgess and the quality of service that the publishers, Century Hutchinson, give to their authors. We accept that other review copies were submitted in advance of publication and that Century Hutchinson takes proper care of the authors whose works it publishes. We should also like to make it clear that Anthony Burgess's next novel will be published by Cen- tury Hutchinson.
