The last accounts from Hanover countenance the opinion, that King

ERNEST and his subjects will settle their quarrel without even the in- terference of the Diet. It will turn out that this Hanoverian affair was a trumpery one from the beginning ; made much of in England for a party purpose, and on the Continent for want of something else.
