fat feud.

THE King continues to take his usual rides on the Shoreham and Rot- tingdean roads; but the Queen has been confined to the Palace, by a severe cold. The Dutchess of Gloucester frequently rides out with his Mojesty, and sometimes Lady Falkland is his companion. The Royal dinner-parties are not numerous ; and the guests appear to be for the most part naval and military officers. Among the " civilians " honoured with invitations to the King's table, we observe the names of Lord and Lady Conyngham, Lord Maryborough, the Marquis of Bristol, Earl and Lady K. Jermyn, and Sir Charles Clarke, M.D.
