it always exactly correct. It is not true, for instance,

that tobacco will not grow except in a hot country. It might be grown in Ireland, were it not for the Excise. And it is grown, we believe, to a very great extent in Germany. Again, the shark cannot swallow a man in a minute, though he might bite off his leg in very much leas time. But there is a great deal of interesting reading in the book, which has a particularly attractive exterior.
