What would such a scheme cost ? The figures have

been worked out very carefully. To provide half a pint of pure milk a day to children of school age would cost 15s. a head a year. The money would be an investment bringing immediate returns in the form of increased prosperity on the land, as well as more vital dividends in the form of citizens more capable of pulling their weight in the affairs of national life, both physically and intellectually. We should become a uation of men of weight.
