THE QUEEN'S CARRIAGES.

MESSRS. BAXTER and PEARCE, of Long Acre, have just completed three new carriages for the Queen, which are most finished specimens of coach- building, both as regards shape and ornaments ; the latter are rich and profuse, but chaste withal. The colour of the bodies is a pompadour brown ; the wheels are red and gold, and the linings light-blue. The chasing of the brass furniture is beautiful, and the whole equipage is splendid and tasteful.
