Since the present Bank statement was made up, a large

supply of bullion has been withdrawn from the Bank of England, 361,0001. having been taken out for transmission to the Continent. The Consol market, however, has maintained a tolerably firm appearance, the closing quotations yesterday being 901, 1, both for money and time. At one period of the week, however, but previously to the withdrawal of heavy supplies of bullion from the Bank, the price was as low as 901 to 901.
