Our trade on Monday last was throughout pretty brisk, with an advance in prices, but to-day things have gone back again, notwithstanding a general deficiency in supply.- The very hest quali- ties in Beef do not make more than 44 6d.; nor is the top price of 31utton higher than 5s. 44.. which is a reduction of 9d. per stone upon both from Monday.
