The French Legislative Body received the Budget yesterday from the

Minister of State. The amount of revenue is set down at 1,528,000,000 franca, that of the expenditure at 1,510,000,000 francs.

The Indeondance Beige publishes the following telegraphic message, under date Marseilles, Thursday-

" The English steamer Caradoc has just arrived from Constantinople. It brings the intelligence that Prince Menzschikoff does not regard as sufficient satisfaction the dismissal of the Turkish Minister of War. He has presented an ultimatum, which the Divan has refused. The Sultan has invoked the immediate help of France and England. The fleet of Sebastopol was ready to start for the Bosphorus."

Letters from Malta of the 14th announce the arrival of the steam frigate Wasp from Constantinople, bearing despatches.

It is stated that M. de la Cour has been ordered to proceed direct to Constantinople, instead of taking Rome by the way.

The new complication of the Eastern question is said to be connected with the resignation of the Prince of Moldavia ; several candidates for his post are starting, it is hinted, under Russian auspices.
