Why all this fuss about sex ?

Sir: After reading John Rowan Wilson's most ex- cellent 'Why all this fuss about sex?' (5 May), how I wished that all parents, teachers, and those in authority would follow his advice.

Discipline, if fair and firm, can be an anchor to a child, and give him a sense of 'belonging,' and of security. Also another very important factor in the upbringing of a child is 'to teach con- sideration for others.'

I feel sure that this sickness of the soul from which some young people seem to suffer stems mainly from a 'couldn't care less' attitude of their parents.
