The Quiver. Vol. XVII. (Cassell and Co.)—This well-known magazine continues

to maintain its reputation. It shows an imposing list of contributors—every one now seems to write for the magazines, and the professional litterateurs scarcely show among the crowd—and its table of contents is of corresponding importance and value. The magazine is intended " for Sunday and general reading," and it is not too much to say that the intention could not be bettor fulfilled.
