A Cabinet Council was held in Paris on Thursday, at

which' chief point in discussion was whether the second contingent of 35,0(0 men should be called out. It was reported, at the close of the day, that the point had been decided in the affirmative.

The acknowledgment of the young Queen of Spain by Austria had been received, but with many reservations, some of which are very un- satisfactory.
