A fierce civil war, and a scourge almost as terrible,

the cholera, are both raging in Mexico. -An insurrection has broken out against the authority of the President, SANTA ANNA, headed by Generals ARISTA and DURA.N. The armies on both sides suffer dreadfully from the cholera : that of SANTA ANNA lost 2,000 men, out of 4,000 in the course of a few days, and the sufferings of the insurgent forces were equally heavy. At the date of the last accounts, all warlike operations were suspended, owing to the pre- -valence of this terrible disease.
