Post Office discrimination

Sir: While the government condemns anything which might be considered divisive, (e.g. public schools) the Post Office openly and deliberately offers a better service to the rich, with their 4V2p stamp, than to poorly paid miners or car workers with their pathetic 31/2p stamp.

What must be the feelings of an egalitarian sorter as he puts aside 31/2p letters, perhaps from widows or orphans, to be expensively sorted again in a day or two? No wonder he enjoys stamping 'Use the Postal Code' on picture postcards from rich holiday makers, so that no one can read the message.
