THE King and Queen, with a large party, went to Eton School on Monday, and heard the speeches of the scholars; for whom his Ma- jesty ordered an additional week's holyday. In the afternoon, their Majesties dined with the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge, and a number of ladies and gentlemen of the Household, at Virginia Water.

On Wednesday night, the King and Queen, with the Dutchess of Saxe-Weimar, arrived at St. James's Palace, from Windsor ; and on the following morning, were present at the confirmation of the Prin- cess Victoria by the Archbishop of Canterbury, assisted by the Bishop Of London, in the Chapel of the Palace. In the evening, their Ma- jesties dined with a party at Kew. - Yesterday, the King held a Levee. Lord Templemore kissed hands, as a Lord of the Bedchamber. The attendance of company was very thin. In the evening, his Majesty gave a grand dinner to the Elder Brethren of Trinity House. To-day the King and Queen visit Greenwich Hospital, in one of the Royal barges, attended by the Lord Mayor as Conservator of the Thames, the members of the Board of Admiralty, and a large party of the nobility.
