For Chums, a Story for Youngsters, by Rayleigh Severne (Griffith

and Ferran), we cannot say much. The book is too big for the very small things which it has to relate. With half the length, it would, if a wearied critic may judge on such a point, have been far more acceptable, for it is simply told, and not without spirit and humour.
