A private letter from NeNV York of the 14th ult. mentions, that the authorities of the State of Indiana, under a law pesaed at the time of authorizing the State loans, and fearing a disappointment trout other resources, have levied and collected a tax upon the landed property of the State and remitted the produce to London.
