Man : Where, Whence, and Whither ? By David Page.

(Edinburgh : Edmonston and Douglas.)—Cautiously and temperately written, this little book of Dr. Page's touches upon some of those questions which the orthodox would have us leave unanswered, and which are gradually engrossing more and more of our attention. We think Dr. Page has not entered deeply enough into many of the points he raises, but he does not profess to bo exhaustive, and, perhaps, he has done as much as can be expected from a popular writer.
